The Chronic Disease Management Programme (CDMP) is an initiative by MOH that allows you to pay for your chronic disease management in a Medisave-approved clinic, like our Intemedical Clinic, using your MediSave savings.

The CDMP covers the following 20 chronic conditions:

1) Diabetes/Pre-Diabetes

2) Hypertension (high blood pressure)

3) Hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol)

4) Stroke

5) Asthma

6) Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)

7) Schizophrenia

8) Major Depression

9) Bipolar Depression

10) Dementia

11) Osteoarthritis

12) Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)

13) Anxiety

14) Parkinson's Disease

15) Chronic Kidney Disease (Nephrosis/Nephritis)

16) Epilepsy

17) Osteoporosis

18) Psoriasis

19) Rheumatoid Arthritis

20) Ischaemic Heart Disease

The CDMP scheme is applicable for all eligible Singaporeans, and patients can make use of their immediate family member’s medisave (spouse, children, parents) to make their claims too. Those with simple chronic conditions can use up to $500 per patient yearly, while those with complex chronic conditions will be able to use up to $700 per patient yearly. A simple chronic condition is defined as if the patient has received treatment for only one CDMP condition. While complex chronic condition is defined as receiving treatment for two or more different CDMP conditions in one visit, or receiving treatment for at least one CDMP condition with recognized complications.

Each CDMP claim is subject to a 15% co-payment by the patient. This means that if the final cost of the visit is $100, $85 can be claimed from MediSave, while $15 will have to be bourne by the patient his/herself.

FlexiMedisave200 was introduced for those 60 years and above to allow them to use their MediSave or their spouse’s MediSave (if their age is also 60 and above), up to $200 for outpatient medical treatment. Hence, for those 60 and above, their total allowance under this scheme would be $700 for simple chronic conditions instead of the usual $500, and $900 for complex chronic conditions.

For those holding CHAS, Merdeka, or Pioneer Generation cards, your respective cards will be used to deduct for your chronic conditions before the CDMP is activated for use.

Visit our clinic if you have more questions with regards to CDMP.

The long-awaited air travel bubble between Singapore and Hong Kong has finally been put into place from 26 May 2021! However, before you rush to book your air tickets, here are some things to take note of before your travel.

According to Singapore authorities, with the air travel bubble, all individuals wishing to travel to Hong Kong would not require any form of controlled itinerary or specific purpose of travel. However they do have to have been in Singapore/Hong Kong for 14 consecutive days prior to travel, not including any days part of Stay Home Notice (SHN), Quarantine Order (QO) etc. So if you’ve just arrived from another country within the past 14 days and was serving your SHN, you will not be eligible to travel to Hong Kong under the air travel bubble. Also, those holding work permit or S-pass holder status individuals working in the construction, marine shipyard, or process sectors are not eligible to travel from Singapore to Hong Kong under the air travel bubble at this point in time.

As per most travel processes these days, a negative COVID-19 PCR swab is required in order to proceed with your travels. This should be done at most 72 hours prior to your departure. Here at Intemedical Clinic, we are a government-accredited institution and can help you perform your COVID-19 PCR swab test. This is a simple nasal swab test that takes no longer than a few seconds to perform, and results will be released in approximately 24 hours. We have refined our processes to make this as fuss free as possible for all travellers. Each of our PCR nasal swab tests is priced at $150 nett.

If you are going to travel to Hong Kong via the air travel bubble, feel free to pop by our clinic for your pre-departure swab test.

If you have any queries, feel free to contact us via the various modes of communication below.

At Intemedical Clinic, we strive to provide affordable, customizable and comprehensive packages for you and your loved ones.

Chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia are no longer as uncommon as we thought and they often have no warning signs in their early or middle stages, eventually leading to end-stage organ failure like stroke, heart attacks and kidney failure.

Vitamin and mineral deficiencies are also prevalent in our population of working adults, whom in their busy work schedule, neglects to eat well, exercise or obtain sufficient amounts from sunlight. These deficiencies can range from peripheral numbness (Vit B deficiency) to brittle bones or osteoporosis (Vit D deficiency) and even fatigue / anaemia (folate/ Vit B12/ iron deficiency).

Hence, health screening remains essential for the early detection of these chronic diseases and deficiencies so prompt and targeted management of these conditions can be instituted. As such, complications from these diseases can be prevented.

We at Intemedical offer 3 readily available packages: Fundamental ($50), Enhanced ($200) and Premium ($300)*. Please refer to our Key Services for further details on each of them.

Our packages have been carefully designed to ensure that it is not only comprehensive, but also relevant to the specific population that it caters to. All our packages can be customized to the individual depending on the needs. Hence, it is advisable to consult our doctors who can advise you on the required tests most appropriate for your health concerns.

We also offer the national screening programme, Screen For Life (SFL), which provides subsidized screening for eligible Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.

*Prices exclude GST. No consultation fees will be charged for health screening consultations.
